![]() 29 March | Canberra Choral Society concert - 'Our Stories' | 5:00pm As part of the UPSTAGEING CANBERRA festival, Canberra Choral Society presents 'Our Stories', an exciting choral event that places storytelling at the centre of choral music. Directed by Dan Walker, CCS Music Director, featuring the CCS choir, soloists Rachel Mink, Soprano, and Alasdair Stretch, Baritone, and a string quartet and piano, this heart-warming event is about connection, listening and finding our stories in the music. |
![]() 29 March | Palm Sunday Rally in Support of Refugees and Migrants | 1:00pm In September last year, Archbishop Christopher called for Australians “to reject fear and stereotypes in the wake of nationwide anti-immigration protests, urging a spirit of hospitality and hope instead”. This year’s Canberra Refugee Rally on Palm Sunday, which is under the theme, ‘Refugees and Migrants Welcome Here’ responds to the same issue. Join Vinnies to support Australia’s 53-year-old commitment to an immigration program, which does not discriminate on the basis of race.
